OK, Mr. Dr. G I know we are only supposed to write blog posts about elements and compounds, but this is super interesting and I know you will like it. This actually has a lot to do with our next unit in science class. The thing that I am about to write about is called Darwin Tunes. It's all based on Darwin's theory of evolution. Darwin tunes is based in the Imperial College, London and is sooo cool! Basically on their site, they have evolving songs, literally! the songs start out as randomly computer generated tunes that slowly develop and reproduce, all according to Facebook likes, just like natural selection. So if one song gets enough likes then it will reproduce with another, popular song. And the songs will merge. This is an amazing concept that has now got to generation 7,000, after starting in 2009. The scientists at Darwin tunes also go as far as to say that this may even be the future of music, although of course we will still have composers. As you can probably tell I think this is really interesting and hope the project cntinues and that you check out their site..
If you want to listen to some of the tunes just have a look at my sidebar and you will find all of the site information there. also if you want to actually go to the site and not just the embedded version on my site, click here.
