Here is my table of what happened:
Data Analysis:
The bigger the ball is the further it goes because it has more surface area but the bigger balls are harder to push because most of them are heavy. I find that the faster the ball goes the straighter it goes because it is going straight forward but when they go slower they cover less distance. The smaller balls are easier to push but they don't go so far because they always crash into the side. The reason for this is that they are lighter and easier to displace.
Does the mass of a marble affect how it moves? It makes the marble go faster or slower because if it is small there is less weight thus less friction whereas if the marble is bigger then there is more weight and more friction so it goes slower. I found this out when I was doing my experiment but the direction also changes so it hits the sides. When given a force what happens to it's direction? The direction changes either because of a slanted table or a badly aimed straw.
Very good analysis of your data. Your conclusion was succinct and to the point and was based on the data you collected. What would you improve if you were to do this next time. Any further inquiry questions to investigate?
