Because the Earth is tilted it gets the majority of the Sun's ray's either to the northern or southern hemisphere of the equator, only during the Autumn and Spring months is the spread of the sun's light equal and it is neither warmer or cooler in the southern and northern hemisphere, they they are are balanced. When the black light was shining through the grid, the wider the squares are the more dispersed the light and heat is. I find it quite cool that the Earth is the only known planet with seasons and that makes me feel quite special, though I do wonder why the Earth actually has it's axis.
Are you sure that it is the only planet with seasons? Could it be because we also have water and an atmosphere and this is affected as well by the axis? What do you think? What happened to the answers from the 7 questions?
